Deiseb a wrthodwyd Stop the development of Y Bryn Onshore Wind Farm creating 250m high wind turbines in Afan valley.
The development plan is being sent to the Welsh Government for them the decide on whether to build this wind farm in our home, in Bryn, Neath Port Talbot.
The wind turbines proposed are 250m high, comparing to nearby ones in Margam that are only 100m. This will visually effect the landscape in the village, ruin the wildlife, soil, house values and our home.
We need your support to protect this small Welsh village and surrounding areas.

We’ve tried to contact the company via their website, they have ignore us and just replied saying they will provide us further information and ignored the questions raised.
I support renewable energy but these are ridiculous as the size specified should be for offshore not onshore wind turbines, plus there’s more long terms & environmental benefits for offshore turbines at sea.
Not to mention the impact on our local wildlife and habitats that will be destroyed.
There are a vast amount of negative factors such as wildlife, endangering species (bats, birds of prey), noise pollution, property prices, flooding, hiking and cycle trails, the carbon footprint as they are not economically friendly to build or maintain. The bad out weighs the good.
