Deiseb a wrthodwyd Introduce recall petitions for suspended Senedd members.
The recent 6 week suspension of a Plaid Cymru Senedd member from the estate would usually warrant a re-call petition, had he been an MP. The Welsh Parliament should adopt the policy of recall petitions to match Westminster's because it promotes accountability and transparency in governance. This mechanism allows constituents to hold their representatives accountable if they are suspended and remove them, ensuring that elected officials meet the standards expected of public office.
