Deiseb a wrthodwyd Introduce StreetDoctors’ lifesaving skills into the Welsh School curriculum.
Any life lost to knife crime is one too many. StreetDoctors empowers young people with life-saving skills and knowledge to keep themselves and others safe from violence.
Recent tragedies like the devastating stabbing of a teacher in a school show that action is urgently needed. The Welsh Government can protect future generations by integrating StreetDoctors’ vital education into the school curriculum. We can equip young people to make a real difference. Support us in building a safer future
Rhagor o fanylion
Last year alone, StreetDoctors educated over 13,000 young people across the UK. We equip young people with the life-saving skills and knowledge they need if they ever find themselves in a violent situation - from treating a stab wound, to putting someone in the recovery position, to performing CPR. This education is already making communities safer - especially for young people in Wales. StreetDoctors’ work has been recognised nationally and internationally for its impact and dedication to youth safety.
Now, we’re calling on the Welsh Government to take the next step: embed this life-saving training into the school curriculum. Help us protect and empower the next generation.
Pam gwrthodwyd y ddeiseb hon?
Allwn ni ddim cyhoeddi deisebau sy’n gofyn am rywbeth sy’n digwydd yn barod neu rywbeth sydd wedi’i gyhoeddi ers i chi ddechrau eich deiseb. Rydym ni’n credu bod y Llywodraeth neu’r Senedd eisoes yn gweithredu ar yr hyn sydd yn eich deiseb chi. Os ydych chi eisiau rhywbeth arall, gallech chi ddechrau deiseb newydd sy’n nodi’n glir beth yw hynny.
Dim ond deisebau nad ydynt yn bodloni’r safonau ar gyfer deisebau y byddwn yn eu gwrthod
