Deiseb a wrthodwyd Reverse the decision to play sporting events behind closed doors from the 27th of December
The latest Welsh Government announcement has introduced a ban on spectators attending sporting events from the 27th of December stopping local grassroots clubs from gaining any income to help maintenance of their ground. However, spectators could go to the pub, next to the game and all crowd around a tiny window to watch the same game with little to no ventilation. If this ban wasn’t implemented then you can have the same spectators spread out watching the game outside with excellent ventilation

This time last year 1,448 people were in hospitals in Wales with Covid-19. This year there are only 253. 83% lower than last year with this number lowering each day thanks to the vaccination of people in Wales. This ban on spectators watching sporting events will not change this number, in fact it could increase the number of cases throughout Wales.
This petition is to reverse the decision to allow spectators to watch their beloved clubs in an outdoor environment. Not only will the help people with mental health but those who may be lonely this Christmas to do the things they love.
